What you should have for a display monitor?
Dr. Know’s Waiting Room TV will run on any computer monitor and any HD TV display that has at least 720p resolution (1280 x 720 pixels). We recommended LG 32” – 47” HD TVs.
How do you setup Dr. Know’s Waiting Room TV?
- Connect the media player computer that comes with your service to your HD display. View instructional video here.

What you should do the first time you run Dr. Know
- Starting the program for the first time displays the registration screen.
- Enter the activation code included in the email you received after you purchased our product, enter the licensing name and choose the percentage of dental content you would like to be displayed on the screen. The remaining content will be filled in with our interesting, fun and useful facts.
About the screen size for Dr. Know
- Dr. Know’s Waiting Room TV software is designed to look its best when it fills the entire monitor. The media player computer is pre-configured to display the Waiting Room TV at the best resolution.
How do you start the Dr. Know program and stop it at the end of the day?
Dr. Know starts when you turn on the media player computer and automatically shuts down at night. So it’s as simple as turning the computer on by pressing the computer’s power button in the morning. Turn The TV on in the morning, and off at the end of the day.
